Who is Mario?
Mario is a creative force hailing from the vibrant Ohlone land in Oakland. As a resident artist at Faultline Artspace, he manages the studio and brings his unique flair to the East Oakland art scene. Specializing in abstract painting, he masterfully uses a variety of mediums, including acrylic and spray paint, to create stunning works of art.

With years of self-taught experience, Mario has showcased his talent in numerous galleries and art spaces across the Bay Area. He’s not just an artist; he’s a community contributor, involved in public and private art projects and assisting with installations at various galleries, spaces, and museums. Plus, he fabricates smaller art projects and crafts professional substrates like wood panels and stretcher bars, as well as frames!

Mario is deeply engaged in the Bay Area art scene, guest curating for different galleries and serving on the Public Art Advisory Committee (PAAC) board for the City of Oakland. About our Monthly Meetings
Join us at El Sobrante United Methodist Church in the Keisler Room at 7:00 PM. You can vind this at the address: 5151 Argyle Road, El Sobrante. After parking, proceed up the ramp to the left. Our monthly general meetings are free and open to the public, everyone is welcome! We're eager to see your artwork, so feel free to bring any type of art, regardless of your experience or skill level. Creativity in all its forms is celebrated here. Sharing your work is encouraged but not mandatory. Enjoy refreshments and an engaging program with us!
