Eli Africa is a multimedia artist from El Cerrito, California, known for his diverse creative expressions spanning illustration, graphic design, photography, and video.

He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications from the University of the Philippines Diliman and a Master of Arts in Multimedia Communications from San Francisco's Academy of Art University. While his formal training provided a strong foundation in art and design, it was in drawing faces where he found a unique and captivating niche, developing a distinctive style that blurs the lines between portrait and caricature.

His career highlights include earning the best foreign short documentary award for “Selling Songs of Leyte” at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival, securing the grand prize for “Eyeland” at a national art competition in the Philippines, producing educational online videos for UC Scout, and seeing his artwork adorn SamTrans buses as part of an editorial campaign. Beyond his artistic creations, Eli is also dedicated to nurturing creativity in others currently as a Visual Arts Teacher for the San Francisco Unified School District. He has also creatively contributed to institutions like the Richmond Art Center, de Young Museum, the Exploratorium, UC Merced, UCSC Silicon Valley Extension, SAE Expression College, the Children's Creativity Museum, the Bay Area Discovery Museum, and the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
